Due to poor weather conditions in the southern part of our geographical area and possible ice in our neck of the woods, the Winter Workshop that was to be held tomorrow morning at the Le Mars library is being postponed until Saturday, March 3, 2012. Please pass the word.

Computer Genies’ Educational Winter Workshop
Saturday, February 4th
10:00 A.M.
The program for the Genies’ February 4th meeting at the Le Mars Public Library meeting room will be an Educational Workshop. There will be several tables set up around the room with seasoned genealogists with their laptops demonstrating genealogy software, research techniques, mobile scanners, flash drives and more. Attendees will be able to ask questions and receive individual and small group attention. Each presenter will provide handouts. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops and ask for individual help where they’re having problems. Click on the following link for a descriptive list of Topics and Presenters.
