To create a GEDCOM file with Brother’s Keeper

 

1. Pick “File” from the main screen menu and then pick “Gedcom” “Export”.

 

 

2. In the Export Gedcom File window pick “OK”

 

 

3. The export routine will ask for the name of the GEDCOM file you want to create.  Type the name for the file followed by .GED in the "File name:" blank.

 

4. Remember where you are creating the file.  Pull down “Save in:” and pick thedrive and folder location you want the file.
5.  Pick “Save”

 

 

 

6. Pick “OK”

 

 

 

7. Fill in the blanks and pick “OK”

 

 

8. Pick “OK”

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS!  YOU DID IT !

Created a GEDCOM file on your hard drive.

 

Now send the GEDCOM file to saidenuj@midlands.net as an attachment.
